The Child Protection in Emergencies Professional Development Programme (CPiE PDP) started in August 2016, with the aim of empowering international and national NGO professionals, as well as government employees, in strengthening child protection capabilities in existing and emerging emergency responses.
Cycle 5 of the CPiE PDP ran between September 2020 and April 2021. It was an 8-month training programme and offered blended learning format and diverse pool of expert facilitators to the participants, coupled with its optional mentoring component.
