During times of natural disaster and armed conflict, children are susceptible to a multitude of threats, such as disease, starvation and trafficking. Child Centered Spaces provide safe places for children during times of displacement and chaos. This document, produced by the Christian Children’s Fund (CCF), emphasises the importance of such child-centred spaces immediately following an emergency situation. The CCF is an international child development organisation that works in more than 30 countries, assisting 10.5 million children and family members without regard to race, religion, gender or national origin.
