Child protection in emergencies (2005)

This publication presents the different aspects of the concept of child protection in emergencies – definition, protection priorities, exploitation and gender-based violence, children associated with armed forces, psycho-social distress, education in emergencies, separated children, refugees and internally displaced persons, monitoring and reporting, social integration and reconciliation. It also presents the international legal framework, human rights law and Security Council resolutions from 1951 through 2005.
