Child-friendly Summary of 2022 Committee on the Rights of the Child Recommendations for Cambodia

This child friendly summary version of the CRC Concluding Observations from the CRC Committee issued in June 2022 to the Government of Cambodia was developed by Child Rights Coalition Cambodia in partnership with children to ensure that children can easily understand the recommendations and actions that the Government of Cambodia needs to take to implement the rights of Cambodian Children. With this child friendly booklet children can better plan on how to apply actions to push for the implementation of these recommendations as part of their advocacy plan.

 

The English and Khmer content was summarized and reworded from the concluding observations, in partnership with children in Cambodia. The Khmer content was further contextualized for Cambodia and for children based on consultations with them,
but retains the overall meaning as in English.
