Save the Children Sweden often meets children who have experience of housing closures and their consequences. We see it as important to raise their voices and support the work to ensure their rights are fulfilled.

Save the Children Sweden has therefore developed this checklist with the intention of highlighting those factors that are especially important for the Migration Agency to observe during a housing closure. If a move must occur, then it must be done based on the best interest of the child and with adherence to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
