The Livelihoods, Agriculture and Health Interventions in Action (LAHIA) project is a six-year project (2012-2018) with the goal of reducing food security and malnutrition among poor and rural households through health-related community activities. To encourage the continuation of these dynamic community-wide health and nutrition activities, LAHIA supported the official recognition of these volunteers by the Nigerien Ministry of Public Health.

This material contains a technical summary of the Certification of Community Volunteers program implemented by the LAHIA project in Niger.
