Case Study: Supporting children affected by armed conflict in Colombia

In Central Colombia’s Meta Department, recruitment of children by the paramilitary through kidnapping and coercion is common. The project that Save the Children is developing in the area involves advocacy work and training of public employees and local authorities on issues related to the protection of the children´s rights, especially in the prevention of violence against children.
