Save the Children Sweden
In the era of online and mobile technologies, Save the Children Romania tries to support all children into creating a responsible, safe attitude regarding internet and computer use. This case study shows how Save the Children strives to help children to avoid internet related risks and to overcome the abusive situations they may be the subject of. Teachers at schools actively participate in the safer use of the internet. To expand the reach of this education project, Save the Children Romania is currently working with four Ministries (Education, Communication, Internal Affairs and Labour), 10 private bodies and several associations. This is the only project in Romania dedicated to child safety online and responsible use of Internet. Impact and lessons learned from the project are presented in the report.
