Case Study. Mobilizing communities to prevent children’s involvement in armed conflict and violence against children in Côte d’Ivoire

Children are greatly affected by the post-conflict challenges faced by Côte d’Ivoire, including their right to education, protection, health and nutrition. In Côte d’Ivoire, Save the Children mobilizes communities to prevent children’s involvement in armed conflict and violence and supports the creation of Children’s Groups, engaging children to discuss together, take initiatives in awareness-raising activities to improve children’s protection at community level, and strive to find solutions to common child rights violations in their areas.
