Case Study. Construction of the National Public Policy on Early Childhood Care in Honduras

Save the Children has actively worked to expand and improve early childhood care in Honduras, but due to the lack of a national policy that ensures access to services in the first cycle of children’s lives, early childhood care remains invisible in the areas of education, nutrition and protection among children aged 0-6 years. This programme leads and facilitates an Inter-Institutional Committee on Early Childhood Care to draft the National Policy on Early Childhood Care.
