Can the powerful protect? How the UN Security Council needs to shape up to protect children

This study, published by the International Save the Children Alliance, examines how well Security Council reports reflect the problems facing children affected by conflict. It focuses on the Security Council because it’s the only global decision-making forum with the power and means to enshrine children’s protection into internationally accepted and enforceable doctrine.
