On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 (the coronavirus) a pandemic. The virus has now spread across the globe and is a common threat to the health of everyone. In refugee camps, there are a number of protection concerns that must be addressed.
This document includes guidance on camp-level preparedness and response planning for an eventual COVID-19 outbreak in refugee camps in Iraq. For example, it includes recommendations for how to ensure the safety of children. The document will be updated and recirculated as necessary.
