Save the Children Sweden
Break Child Poverty! – Nine voices on the child’s right to equal childhood conditions
Sweden is one of the countries in the world with the best conditions for a child to grow up. At the same time there is a reality that Save the Children Sweden is fighting to receive more attention in political debate: a portion of children in Sweden live under limited economic conditions that impacts their lives. This has meaning for their social development, their education, what they can do in their free time, and their health. These children are regrettably forgotten in debates.
This publication is intended for those who have the power to change children’s living conditions: politicians and voters alike. It contains information on child poverty in Sweden and how these conditions affect their quality of life. This information is presented by children who have lived or currently live under economically unstable conditions.
