This article explores recent advancements in inclusive education in Iraq following the 2024 amendment of Law No. 38, which removed barriers limiting children with disabilities from progressing beyond primary education and formally recognized their right to inclusive learning. Led by Save the Children under the Multi-Year Resilience Programme (MYRP), in collaboration with government and partners, including Education Cannot Wait, the reform represents a significant policy milestone. The article emphasizes that the current priority lies in translating legislative progress into practical implementation.
