Bor South County Multisector Needs Assessment, South Sudan: December 2023

This Multi-Sector Needs Assessment was to inform Save the Children South Sudan about the challenges, opportunities and needs of target communities and children in Bor South, and inform coming proposal designs. The assessment prioritized key primary areas where SCI has an operational presence. Recent evidence from the completed needs assessment has been useful but provided limited information about the needs of children and caregivers in the target locations where SCI works. The purpose of the study was to identify the most urgent humanitarian needs at the household level around education, health, nutrition, WASH, food security and livelihoods, shelter, cash and voucher assistance, child protection, mental health and psychosocial support services, in order to propose recommendations for a relevant and efficient project framework. The assessment used quantitative method to collect primary data from randomly selected 388 household.
