Birth Registration: A topic proposed for an executive committee conclusion on international protection

This recommendation (EC/61/SC/CRP.5) from the Standing Committee of the 47th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the High Commisioner’s Programme presents the case for ensuring birth registration for all children as a first step in ensuring their access to the rights granted them under international agreements such as the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
