This report examines the results of the Quality (cross-border) Education Support in Thailand (QUEST) baseline assessment. The data collection was conducted from June to September 2017 and included 1,289 children from 86 Karen Education Department (KED) affiliated community schools in Bago and Kayin states in southeast Myanmar. The assessment tool included a modified version of the Save the Children Literacy Boost Assessment Tool and Numeracy Boost Assessment Tool. It covered reading outcomes and numeracy outcomes and was administered in the Sgaw Karen language.
