Save the Children Sweden
Since 2002 Save the Children Sweden has conducted yearly studies that reflect changes on trends in childhood poverty at the national and municipal levels in Sweden. This report summarises the sixth report in the series and builds on statistics up to and including the year 2005. Special focus is given to the most exposed groups – children of immigrant parents and children from single parent households. Save the Children has aimed to raise awareness of child poverty in Sweden since releasing its first report on the issue in 2002 and calls for a national action plan combat the growing incidence of child poverty.
