Actors from the United Nations to the World Bank agree that exclusion is problematic and should be tackled. The most marginalized and poorest citizens of our world need assistance. While the recent spotlight on exclusion is fantastic for continued inclusion work, we must not forget all of the work that has been done previously to combat this problem.
This guide highlights inclusion work that has been undertaken by people and actors to address marginalization, provide access to services, and enable disadvantaged citizens to participate wholeheartedly in their families, communities, and societies. Through reading about successes and failures, stories of change, and gaining a greater understanding of inclusion, this guide hopes to inspire practitioners to start tackling inclusion as soon as imaginably possible.
