Atlante Minori Stranieri Non Accompagnati in Italia 2018

For the second time, Save the Children has published an “Atlas” on migrant children who arrive alone in Italy. 

If there is one element that unites all the stories of foreign minors arriving alone in Italy is that of travel. They all confront travel when leaving their country of origin for a destination in most cases almost unknown.

In this second edition of the Atlas, the focus is on the children’s journey once they arrive in Europe and in particular, Italy. It is a specific type of “journey” – that of integration in an unknown foreign country. A journey marked by obstacles and risks, no less insidious than those faced during the crossing.
