L’adolescenza è un tempo fragile e potente. È il momento in cui l’identità prende forma, viene messa in discussione e si apre al mondo. È il tempo delle domande radicali, delle scelte che iniziano ad avere peso, dei sogni in cerca di spazio. È anche un tempo in cui troppi ragazzi e ragazze vengono lasciati soli, ignorati, marginalizzati. Un tempo che può diventare un’opportunità di crescita o una fonte di ferite, di apertura o di chiusura, di fiducia o di abbandono.

Nel nostro lavoro quotidiano incontriamo adolescenti che vivono in contesti di povertà educativa, precarietà emotiva ed esclusione sociale. Troppi di loro non riescono a trovare luoghi in cui potersi esprimere, in cui essere ascoltati, in cui sentirsi parte di qualcosa. Troppi si sentono invisibili. Eppure sono proprio loro a dirci — attraverso parole, gesti e silenzi — che qualcosa deve cambiare. Che vogliono partecipare. Che vogliono contare. Che non vogliono essere semplicemente destinatari di interventi, ma protagonisti del cambiamento.

Adolescence is a fragile and powerful time. It is the moment when identity takes shape, is questioned, and opens itself to the world. It is the time of radical questions, of choices that begin to carry weight, of dreams searching for space. It is also a time when too many boys and girls are left alone, ignored, marginalized. A time that can become an opportunity for growth or a source of wounds, for openness or withdrawal, for trust or abandonment.

In our daily work, we meet adolescents living in contexts of educational poverty, emotional precarity, and social exclusion. Too many of them cannot find places where they can express themselves, where they are listened to, where they feel they belong. Too many feel invisible. And yet, they are the ones telling us — through words, gestures, and silences — that something must change. That they want to participate. That they want to matter. That they do not want to be merely recipients of interventions, but protagonists of transformation.
