CRAE, Children's Rights Alliance for England
Produced by the Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE), these guidelines are intended to inform journalists about children’s human rights and to engage them in ensuring that children’s rights are understood and realised in their work. Motivated by research showing that a large proportion of media reporting about children and young people is negative and a lack of child participation in reporting (as witnesses, experts, or commentators), these guidelines hope to encourage better reporting about matters that affect children and young people and an increased inclusion of young children’s rights activists.
