Save the Children International
Members of the International Save the Children Alliance work together as a federation by pooling resources, establishing common positions on issues and carrying out joint projects. They represent the world’s largest independent global movement for children with programmes in over 100 countries. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child underpins everything Save the Children does. In 2002 the Alliance produced a new training tool, the Children Rights Programming Handbook, which has already been widely used. The 2002 Annual Report shows the progress made and the challenges that lie ahead.
