Algunas Experiencias de Gobernabilidad en Derechos de la Niñez en Latinoamérica y El Caribe

En América Latina y el Caribe, al igual que en otras regiones del mundo, Save the Children y una amplia variedad de socios han desarrollado diversas experiencias alrededor de la temática. Save the Children quiere ser una organización que aprende de su práctica y de la de otros, para mejorar su accionar a favor de la niñez. Esta publicación es producto de ese propósito. Es el resultado de la producción colectiva de los colegas puntos focales de CRG en LAC y del ingenio de organizaciones socias, aliados y de grupos de niñas, niños y adolescentes de: Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haití, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Perú y República Dominicana. Este documento ofrece un panorama de algunas experiencias concretas relacionadas a CRG que en los últimos dos años hemos apoyado en la región. Son diversas y tienen el común denominador de buscar respuestas sostenibles y de largo plazo.

Some Experiences of Governance in Children’s Rights in Latin America and the Caribbean

In Latin America and the Caribbean, as in other regions of the world, Save the Children and a wide variety of partners have developed diverse experiences around the theme. Save the Children wants to be an organization that learns from its practice and that of others, to improve its action in favor of children. This publication is a product of that purpose. It is the result of the collective production of the CRG’s fellow focal points in LAC and of the ingenuity of partner organizations, allies and groups of children and adolescents in LAC: Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and the Dominican Republic. This document offers an overview of some concrete experiences related to CRG that we have supported in the region over the past two years. They are diverse and have the common denominator of seeking sustainable and long-term responses.
