ACPF, African Child Policy Forum

The African Child Policy Forum (ACPF) is an independent, non-for-profit, pan-African institution for policy research and dialogue on the African Child. This report aims to both inform and accelerate efforts to prevent and respond to violence against children in Africa. It provides a continent-wide analysis of the interaction and effect of African beliefs, behaviours, and attitudes on violence against children from a pan-African perspective.

Children’s own perspectives are included as well as an examination of what is being done and what can be done to mitigate violence and to transform attitudes and behaviours in such a way as to reduce both incidence and damage violence causes to children’s lives.
