African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child States Parties Reporting Guidelines

This document combines Initial and Periodic Reporting Guidelines for State Parties under the African Children’s Charter. States Parties to the African Children’s Charter are expected to submit reports on the measures they have adopted to give effect to the provisions of the Charter. Article 43 of the Charter thus request States Parties to submit an “Initial Report” within two years of the entry of force of the Charter, and thereafter a “Periodic Report” every three years.
