Decades of insecurity have strongly affected the children in Afghanistan. Both health and education systems suffer from poor finances, lack of qualified professionals, and security problems. Afghanistan remains extremely poor and children suffer from chronic malnutrition, lawlessness and violence, and girls are still excluded from many activities. Save the Children seeks public support to help recreate schools for all Afghan children and redevelop essential skills in the country.
