Adolescent and Youth Work in ESA Learning Brief

Save the Children (SC) East and Southern Africa (ESA) region’s vision is creating a ‘triple dividend’ of positive change for adolescents now, in their future adult life, and for the next generation of children (ESA Adolescent and Youth Framework). This is by implementing and promoting programs on: adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health rights (ASRHR), decent livelihoods and social protection, child rights governance, education and training and protection from violence and abuse. These programs will be achieved through driving integrated programming, strengthening SC technical capacities and expertise, strengthening partnerships and strategic alliances, generating evidence, learning and research, mainstreaming gender and promoting engagement and participation.
