This toolkit was developed to assist civil society organisations in their efforts in effectively engaging the Committee on the Rights of the Child  to ensure that States fullfil their obligations to promote, respect and fulfil every child’s right to acquire a nationality, and to ensure that no child is stateless. The Toolkit highlights challenges pertaining to childhood statelessness and how CSOs can identify and respond to challenges relating to the realisation of the child’s right to a nationality. It further highlights how the CRC can support efforts to address these challenges as well as offers a step-by-step guidance on how to effectively navigate the relevant procedures.
