Accelerate Action Fund to End Child, Early and Forced Marriage and Unions

High-quality, gender-transformative interventions across thematic areas are required to tackle complex and critical child rights violations such as CEFMU. In 2022, Save the Children launched a small grants program called ‘Accelerate Action to End CEFMU’ with support from the SCUS Miles-Mulcahy Gender Equality Fund and the Sponsorship Program across 14 countries, including: Bolivia, Colombia, Indonesia, Malawi, Mali, Mexico, Mozambique, Nepal, Pakistan, Somalia, Zambia and two countries in West Asia. This brief synthesizes findings from both rounds of CEFMU grants, with learnings from formative research to inform the design of CEFMU projects, as well operational learnings on the implementation of GAP analyses.
