This report presents the findings from an HEA (Household Economy Analysis) study of differences in assets and livelihood strategies between old and new HEA baselines to better understand the impact of climate variability on the household economy and resilience.
The central objective of the study was to identify major differences in food, income, and expenditure patterns between old and new baselines and to address the link between these differences with any shifts in household resilience in a typical shock. The objective was also to situate shifts in livelihood strategies within the broader context of the changing political and security situation in Somalia as well as within major emerging climate trends
