USAID’s five-year (April 2018-April 2023) MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project (MaMoni MNCSP) advanced learning and effective scale up of maternal and newborn care (MNC) interventions to ensure access for all to quality care and services to lower mortality, targeting the poor and most marginalized in Bangladesh. Lowering the maternal and newborn mortality rate is a vision Bangladesh is striving to achieve. MaMoni MNCSP, through Save the Children and consortium partners, actively worked to reach this goal. The project expanded the evidence base and testing new MNC innovations in selected learning sites, and furthermore, facilitated health systems improvements and policy changes for sustained impact at national scale.
