About the collection
This suite of fundraising materials introduces the Steps to Protect Common Approach. Steps to Protect is our Common Approach to child protection case management. Case management helps Save the Children and partners address the protection concerns of individual children with complex needs and their families in an appropriate, systematic and timely manner. In this process, a case worker acts like a spider in a web: pulling in and coordinating multi-sectoral services and supports that address the various needs of the child and their family. Services can be formal, such as education, health, nutrition or legal services, but also informal, like family and community support networks. These resources are designed to engage donors and partners by clearly communicating the problem, our evidence-based solution, and the impact we're making. 1. Two-Page Brief– Introducing Steps to Protect: A foundational overview of the Common Approach, its purpose, and how it works. Ideal for donor briefings, introductory emails, and funding applications. 2. Useful for pitch decks, presentations, and social media outreach. 3. Case Study – Steps to Protect: A real-world example showing the impact of the Common Approach. Perfect for donor reports, proposals, and stakeholder engagement. 4.
