About the collection
MAZIKO is a cash plus for nutrition and child development research project that combines maternal and child cash transfers with a package of multi-sectoral social and behaviour change interventions to address the key drivers of chronic malnutrition and poor child development in Malawi. The project was launched in November 2021 and reaching around 57,000 households with pregnant women and children under 5 years, in Ntcheu and Balaka districts in Malawi. It includes a large research component, including a cluster randomized trial to evaluate the impact and cost effectiveness of the cash plus package, and implementation research to inform Malawi’s National Social protection programme and multi-sector nutrition strategy. This collection includes all the reports, briefs, scientific publications and videos generated through the Maziko project.
