About the collection
Cash and Voucher assistance for Nutrition outcomes are cash transfers or vouchers provided to targeted beneficiaries to improve their nutritional status or the dietary intake of individuals. CVA can positively impact the underlying determinants of child and maternal nutrition by: a) increasing the purchasing power of households and individuals to access goods and services; 2) improving the uptake of the Nutrition Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) activities and the attendance to priority health and nutrition services, if provided as combined assistance; 3) it can reduce the economic pressure and households' tension, therefore increasing the time available for caregiving, improve women's decision-making power and psychological wellbeing of caregivers. This collection shares resources on case studies, findings, and research on using cash transfers alongside Nutrition interventions, including to attain Nutrition outcomes.
