Improved user-experience

Tabular view for search results – Simplified content discovery. We’ve noticed that you occasionally encountered challenges in locating collections, articles, or toolkits within the search results. This year, you can look forward to an optimized search results page featuring a new tabular view for collections, articles, and toolkits. Say goodbye to endless scrolling—and welcome to a more organized and efficient browsing experience.

Mobile site review and optimization – Resource Centre on-the-go. We’re making the Resource Centre even more mobile-friendly in 2024. Expect a sleek and responsive experience wherever you are. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any preliminary feedback!

Mixed Media Display – Enhancing engagement. The Resource Centre will get an enhanced mixed media experience, allowing you to explore a variety of media formats for a more dynamic navigation. This upgrade aims to promote greater inclusiveness and accessibility on the website. Our goal is to host a diverse range of content types, ensuring a richer and more engaging experience for all users.

Language features upgrade – Multilingual magic. We are very proud of our users geographical-spread and diversity and want to improve our language features for a smoother transition between language sites. We will implement auto-detection of your preferred navigation language, making the browsing experience more personalized and robust.

Optimized resource management

Bulk upload optimization – Effortless efficiency. There is always room for progress, and that is why we will improve our bulk upload feature. Save time by uploading multiple items with our improved bulk upload optimization.

Abstract Guidance on upload form – Clearer instructions. Ever succumbed to writer’s block when writing your abstract in the upload form? We will provide crystal-clear instructions for a hassle-free content submission experience.

Merging Collections – Organizing for a better experience. New year, new changes! We’re giving the Resource Centre a bit of a makeover by consolidating specific features across different collection types. Currently, various features are categorized under the umbrella term “collection,” and we aim to improve clarity for you, our users. This initiative is meant to improve and simplify your experience, ensuring the platform remains well-organized and user-friendly.

Notifications when added as collaborators/authors collections – Stay in touch. You will get email notifications whenever you are added to a collection to notify you that you are invited to collaborate, have been named as owner, or have been removed from a collection. Nothing will fall through the cracks anymore!
